It is important that your doctor talks to you beforehand about the benefits and side effects of chemotherapy. If all of the tumour is not removed you may have radiotherapy afterwards. If due to health concerns surgery cannot be performed , radiotherapy or combined radiotherapy and chemotherapy can be done. This treatment aims to try to get rid of the cancer completely.
